One of Canada's finest Blues Guitarists
Terry Edmunds has been playing Blues across Canada since the 70's. Born in Nova Scotia he joined the American Federation of Musicians Union and started playing in bands in night clubs at the age of 12 ! Early on in his career he recorded and toured with some of the biggest names on the East coast. He then moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where he spent 18 years in the local music scene.
Throughout his career he has opened for artists as diverse as Charlie Daniels, Rick Derringer, Johnny Winter, Lonnie Mack, Lonnie Brooks, George Thorogood, Mitch Ryder , Katie Webster, Big Brother and the Holding Company to name a few. This Blues/Rock guitarist has played to sell out crowds across the country.
"Givin' It Back" Terry's CD, recorded in Vancouver was tracked by SoCan and played worldwide . It was entered in an unsigned blues band competition in Seattle, Washington where the judges were flown in from Chicago... Bruce Iglauer from Alligator Records and Edward Chmelewski from Blind Pig Records. Both gave a positive review and the CD came in third out of the top five.
Recently living in Ontario where he was a regular on the Ontario Blues circuit. Working with musicians from Downchild Blues Band, Thundermug, Aerosmith (Scot Cushnie) and Crowbar. Hired as a featured artist at many venues across Southern Ontario and as well opening for Canadian Blues legend Shakura S'Aida and opening for the late Great Johnny Winter in Hamilton in March 2014. Terry has now moved home to Nova Scotia where he looks forward to playing and recording on the music scene as well as featuring the talents of the local musicians here.

Terry’s first and last love is the Blues. Throughout his career he has remained and continues to remain true to his roots....the blues. His main influences are Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter and Jimi Hendrix.
